Last month, FCA Corp’s Ryan Scharar, President, and Robert Scharar, Founder, were in Malawi for the launch of the American Chamber of Commerce in Malawi. Ryan Scharar will serve as interim chair of the American Chamber of Commerce in Malawi.
FCA Corp worked with representatives of the U.S. Embassyin Lilongwe and key business leaders in Malawi to help bring the Chamber together. The event brought more than 100 business leaders together, including U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Melania R. Arreaga.
FCA Corp has been involved in Malawi and across Africa for many years. The launch of the American Chamber of Commerce is another step in building relationships and creating opportunities between the United States and Malawi.
We believe being involved in Africa is about more than investing. It’s also about building relationships, learning from the communities and people we work with, and finding opportunities to give back and create a lasting impact. Being engaged in other countries also gives us a broader global perspective and a better understanding of the world beyond our own borders. That perspective helps us make more informed decisions and better understand the opportunities and challenges that exist here in the United States.
