Christina Doherty Joins the Board of Directors for Literacy Now 

 

HOUSTON, TEXAS – FCA Corp proudly announces that Christina Doherty, Vice President & Director of Financial Planning, has joined the Board of Directors for Literacy Now.

Christina shares, “Literacy, to me, is more than reading. It’s access, empowerment, and hope. Being part of an organization that opens doors for children, strengthening families and communities in the process, is what truly motivates me.”

Literacy Now provides reading readiness and intervention programs, engages parents, and supports children and families across Houston — all with the goal of helping students read at grade level, graduate high school, and pursue post-secondary opportunities.

Christina holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and a B.S. in Spanish from Texas Christian University, a Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University, and a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University.

At FCA Corp, Christina advises individual and business clients on a broad range of financial and tax issues. She also plays an integral role in operations and tax compliance. Prior to joining FCA Corp, Christina worked at Deloitte in their Tax Controversy practice.
